Millions of people have recently posted on their Facebook a rumor (rumor content is found at the bottom of this article) warns the website against using the content of its users. The notice claims that Facebook will use its users pictures, information or videos without any permission of or going back to the owners. unfortunately, this rumor has spread widely. Facebook has recently declared, "There is a rumor circulating that Facebook is making a change related to ownership of users' information or the content they post to the site. This is false. Anyone who uses Facebook owns and controls the content and information they post, as stated in our terms. They control how that content and information is shared. That is our policy, and it always has been." This is a powerful response from Facebook that refutes all the rumors seen recently.
